Beretta Px4 Backstrap - Full Size - Brass
**Returns/Exchanges: Try it on and make sure you like the shape, texture, and weight. We cannot take it back if it has been shot with, scratched, tarnished, or damaged in any way. You may return/exchange it within 60 days of delivery undamaged and in new condition.
This Px4 backstrap is CNC machined from solid brass. The added weight and aggressive checkering help reduce felt recoil and improves control for better follow-up shots. The checkering blends in nicely to the frame as well.
Our backstrap is also much easier to install and remove than the factory polymer backstraps. It also eliminates the need for the steel retaining fork.
Similar size to the factory Medium backstrap
WILL work with the Springer Precision PX4 Magwell.
Weight ~2.31 oz
Includes 1x custom roll pin
Installation
We recommend having a knowledgeable gunsmith install your backstrap. We are not responsible for any damage caused by improper installation.
- Ensure that your firearm is unloaded.
- Remove the retaining wire fork by inserting a flathead screwdriver under the exposed portion of the fork and twisting. Then use the screwdriver to pry the retaining fork out, being careful not to mar your frame.
- Remove your backstrap by inserting the flathead screwdriver between the frame and backstrap at the bottom of the magwell and twisting.
- With the slide forward and the hammer down, push onto the hammer spring plug with the corner of a bench or other sturdy object. With the spring plug depressed, use a ⅛” punch to press the hammer spring plug retaining pin out.
- Slide the LOK backstrap onto the pistol.
- Push the hammer spring plug back into position and seat the provided coil pin with a ⅛” roll pin punch.
